RCTC – 15 Express Lanes Construction Update – Feb 15

Crews have begun drilling and earthwork to prepare for the soundwall to be built along southbound I-15, south of El Cerrito Road. This is the first of six soundwalls to be built for the project. For more information about the walls and a map of the wall locations, click here.

Crews will continue working in the Santa Ana River at I-15, preparing the area for bridge construction. Work to divert the stream around the construction area is scheduled to begin on February 19.


Join us for a Community Open House on Wednesday, Feb. 28,

5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Eagle Glen Golf Club, 1800 Eagle Glen Parkway in Corona.

Information will be provided about the upcoming 15 Express Lanes construction in an open house format. No formal presentation will be given; project team members will be on hand to answer questions.

Representatives from Caltrans, County of Riverside and the City of Corona will be available to share information about other neighboring projects, including the Temescal Canyon Road Widening and Cajalco/I-15 Interchange Improvement Projects.
