Construction Update – Week of Mar. 4

NIGHTTIME LANE & RAMP CLOSURES

Alternating closures on the El Cerrito Rd. and Ontario Ave. on- and off-ramps on northbound and southbound I-15 are scheduled nightly from Monday, March 4 to Thursday, March 7 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for electrical work. The ramps will not be closed consecutively. Detours will be clearly marked.

Intermittent lane reductions are also scheduled on northbound and southbound I-15 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights and up to 7 a.m. weekend mornings. During lane reductions, at least one lane will remain open at all times.


RIVERSIDE DR. BRIDGE DEMO

Riverside Dr. at the I-15 undercrossing will be closed nightly from Tuesday, March 5 through Friday, March 8 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge demolition work. Detours will be clearly marked. Please use alternate routes.


NEW TRAFFIC CONFIGURATION ON EL CERRITO RD.

A temporary traffic configuration continues to be in place on El Cerrito Road at I-15 to allow crews to widen the El Cerrito bridge. Please allow for extra travel time and use caution when traveling through the area due to ongoing construction activities.

 


DAYTIME FLAGGING ON CORONA AVE.

Daytime flagging operations will continue weekdays for bridge widening work on Corona Ave. at I-15 through March.

Neighboring Projects

Caltrans Mainentance Work: Caltrans crews will be closing the eastbound 91 connector to the northbound 71 for maintenance repairs. The work will take place Saturday, March 2 from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. Please remember to reduce your speed in the work zone.
